Advertising Policy

The rules for ads that brands and streamers arrange through Struad: who answers for what, what is not allowed, and what Struad may do about it.
1. What this policy covers
This policy applies to every ad arranged through Struad: listings, requests, deals, and everything a brand asks a streamer to show or say. It is part of the Terms of Service.
2. What brands are responsible for
- The law, everywhere your ad is seen. A stream can be watched from any country. You alone are responsible for making sure your ad and your offer are legal in every market and every audience’s jurisdiction where the stream is watched. That covers advertising, consumer protection, gambling, alcohol, financial and crypto promotions, and data protection rules.
- Licences. You must hold every licence and permit your business and your ad need. Struad does not check licences, including gambling licences, and does not restrict ads by country.
- Truthful claims. What you ask a streamer to say about your product must be true and backed by evidence. Do not hide costs, conditions or risks.
- Age. Do not aim ads at minors. If your offer is for adults only, such as gambling or alcohol, say so in the ad and brief the streamer on it.
- Required notices. Give the streamer every disclaimer the law requires of your ad, such as age limits or responsible-gambling messages.
- Your materials. You need the rights to the logos, images, music, links and other materials you give the streamer.
Gambling and other regulated offers
Gambling brands are welcome on Struad, but the legal risk is theirs. A streamer’s audience is international and may include countries where your offer is restricted or banned. It is up to you to know those rules and to brief, restrict or choose streamers accordingly. A listing or deal on Struad does not mean that Struad has checked your offer or approved it.
3. What streamers are responsible for
- Your platform’s rules. Follow the rules of Twitch or Kick on sponsored content, branded content and restricted categories such as gambling. If the platform does not allow an ad, do not accept it.
- Disclosure. Make it clear, every time, that a placement is paid. Use the platform’s own paid-promotion tools where they exist, and say it in the stream and in any text: for example “#ad” or “sponsored”, in the language of your stream.
- Your local law. Follow the advertising and consumer rules of the country where you live and stream.
- Delivery. Deliver what you agreed, when you agreed, and keep proof of it, such as a clip or a link.
- Your own judgement. You can decline any ad that you think is misleading, unlawful or wrong for your audience.
4. What is not allowed
No ad arranged through Struad may promote or contain:
- products, services or offers that are illegal where the ad is shown;
- scams, fraud, fake giveaways, pyramid schemes, or promises of guaranteed returns;
- malware, phishing or links that hide where they lead;
- services that fake engagement, such as view-bots, follow-bots or bought followers;
- content that sexualises minors, or any ad aimed at minors for adult products;
- sexually explicit content;
- hate speech, harassment, or incitement to violence;
- misleading health or financial claims;
- content that infringes someone else’s rights, such as counterfeit goods or stolen materials;
- anything that breaks the rules of the platform where it is shown.
5. What Struad may do
Struad does not review or approve ads in advance. But at any time we may:
- decline, pause or remove a listing, a request or a deal;
- stop a brand from sending requests;
- remove a streamer’s verification;
- suspend or close an account under the Terms of Service.
We do this when we believe that this policy, the Terms or the law has been broken, or to protect users or the Service. Money already in a deal’s escrow is never moved by this. It still follows the Escrow & Payments Terms.
6. Reporting an ad
If you see an ad on a stream that was arranged through Struad and breaks this policy, write to [email protected]. Tell us the channel and, if you can, when the ad ran.
